• Freshcart collects your realtime location to show nearby carts and inventory, enabling you to shop conveniently on our mobile app.
• Your location data is not shared with any third parties.
• This data is only used during your session and is deleted once you close the mobile app.

  • Transaction Preferences
  • Purchase History
• This data is used to personalize your experience and for user authentication purposes.

3. Financial Information

• Freshcart does not store credit card numbers or other sensitive financial information.
• We use Stripe as our payment processor. Stripe SDKs are integrated into our mobile app to securely collect and process your credit card information.
• All financial data is anonymized and securely transmitted to Stripe for processing.

Data Protection

We take the security of your personal information seriously. Freshcart implements industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Email Address Policy

At Freshcart, we aim to provide a fair and seamless experience for all our customers. To maintain the integrity of our systems and ensure equal access to offers and promotions, we enforce the following rules regarding the use of email addresses on our platform:

1. Allowed Characters in Email Addresses

To ensure security and consistency, Freshcart allows email addresses containing only the following characters in the local part (before the @ symbol):

• Letters (a-z, A-Z)
• Numbers (0-9)
• Underscores (_)
• Periods (.)

Example of valid email addresses:

• user.name@example.com
• user_name123@example.com

2. Prohibited Email Address Patterns

Freshcart does not allow email aliasing, and therefore the + sign is prohibited in email addresses. Additionally, the following patterns are not allowed:

• Email addresses with leading special characters (e.g., .user@example.com).
• Email address with trailing special characters (e.g. user.@example.com)
• Consecutive special characters (e.g., user..name@example.com).
• Invalid domain formats (e.g., user@example or user@example.c).

3. One Email Address Per Customer

• Each email address is associated with one unique Freshcart account. Using multiple email addresses to stack offers, create duplicate accounts, or circumvent Freshcart rules is strictly prohibited.
• Freshcart reserves the right to investigate and take action, including the removal of duplicate accounts, if such practices are detected.

4. Email Address Validation

Freshcart performs strict validation of email addresses during account registration to ensure compliance with the above rules. If an invalid email address is detected, registration will be denied until a valid email address is provided.

5. Privacy and Security

• Freshcart takes email security and privacy seriously
• Your email address will not be shared with third parties without your consent, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Transactional Email Policy

Freshcart currently sends only essential transactional emails related to your orders and account.
